Decoding of MASTECH MS8250D data transmission

Data from MS8250D are send in packets of 18 bytes, with 2400 baud, 8 bits, odd parity, 1 stop bit. The last byte seems to be zero all the time.
Bits address segments of the LCD display.

The figure below shows the MS8250D display. Identified symbols/segments are framed green; when the mouse pointer is over one of those, the corresponding bit is marked red in the table below.

Fahrenheit and Celsius symbols can not be identified because they are not used, the MS8250D doesn't have a temperature measurement. The 'HOLD' symbol can not be identified because data transmission stops when HOLD is pressed.
